Well Baby

Regular checkups during the first two years of your baby’s life are important to make sure your child’s weight gain, growth, development, and eating are all working together to keep your child healthy.


We provide immunizations for all age groups, including including Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR), Influenza, Varicella (Chickenpox), Tetanus and Diphtheria (TD) or Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (TDAP or DTAP), Hepatitis B, Herpes Zoster (Shingles) Vaccine, Pneumococcal Polysaccharide or PPSV (Pneumonia) Vaccine. The specific immunizations you may need are determined by factors such as your lifestyle, type and locations of travel, overall health, and previous immunizations. Be sure to contact us if you plan to travel, are at risk for contact with specific diseases, or have not been immunized for these diseases.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Services are devoted to the care of patients, family and friends who have a problem with the use of Opiates, Pills or other Narcotics. Let us review these services with you.

Care Coordination

Our Care Coordination, as part of Chronic Care Management, is a patient- and family-centered service designed to assess and meet the needs of our patients, while helping them navigate effectively and efficiently through the complex health care system.

Preventive Health

Standard screenings for blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, diabetes, colon, breast, and prostate cancers - including Pap smears - and Hepatitis C virus (HCV) will catch early signs of any problems and give you options for health management.

Karen Smith MD, PA has a co-management agreement with Lighthouse Counseling Center Associated Therapeutic Services ("Lighthouse") to provide our patients with on-going substance abuse and behavioral disorder counseling for those who suffer from alcoholism, drug addiction, eating disorders, or behavioral problems. These services are provided under the guidance of Dr. Karen Smith, MD, FAACP.

Diabetes Care

Diabetes affects your entire body so education, proper nutrition and medication management, as well as the support of a trusted physician and support team, are all critical to a high quality of care.
